Old Friends

I was unpacking some things and came across this picture.  Just some young girls from SC?
Well, actually, no. There's always a story to tell; on closer inspection....

These girls went through school together.

Kirby, on the left, helped her mama with the floral decorations for Emily's wedding.
Whitney, in the middle, and Kirby are cousins.

Whitney and my Whitney still keep in touch.

Kirby had a baby a little while ago.

Whitney, in the middle, is expecting a baby now.

My Whitney refuses to give me a grandchild!

  LOL!!

I have an overpowering emotion of love and happiness with the two grandchildren I have….
One or two more would be nice. Just sayin' !!!

 I'm not above using guilt......

    1. Well I just know that if W&J were to have a baby, it would be gorgeous and spoiled. It would be so exciting. But, she's pretty adamant...no children! I try, but she doesn't listen to me. Lol!! You'll be a great grandma!

  4. I haven't resorted to guilt yet, but my son's mother-in-law uses it quite frequently!

  5. Enjoy every single one you get!! They are a blessing from heaven. And they keep us "older" people from aging too quickly---what with all the running and chasing, and the hugging and kissing, and the staying up too late when they sleep over, and the spoiling rotten.... well... you get the idea! lol
