Random Autobiography

My blogging friend, Carol, at  http://artandsand.blogspot.com did the sweetest thing for me. She took the words from this blog post and turned it into a poem and what I would consider....ART.

Carol told me that when she was teaching, she had her students write a "random" autobiography and that since the last few years of teaching her school had become a technology magnet, she was always looking for programs for the kids to create their work online.

She said that my words reminded her of the "random" poems the kids wrote. So, Carol took my words and turned them into a "random" poem and put them into Tagxedo - http://www.tagxedo.com/.

How cool is that?

Thanks again, Carol!  I'm still smiling.

If you want to experience a real treat.....y'all should go pay Carol a visit. Just click on the link above...it will take you directly to her blog. You will be amazed at how colorful and cheery her blog is. She is a very talented lady, indeed!

Randomly yours,

P.S. In case you were wondering...........
I ran 3.26 miles with my running buddy, Christie, this morning on trails. And, my sisters and I spent 4 hours completing the clean up in mama's yard. She has like 20 huge pine trees on her property...all of which had numerous fallen limbs. That should tell you something. I stopped counting at 159,000 pinecones. I burned a lot of calories today. And, mama is once again a happy mama.

  1. Cool idea with the words..love it! Congrats on all that calorie burning. Because I love you and want you to continue to enjoy all the benefits of calorie burns, I'm sending you this invite to come to Whispering Pines and you can have all the pinecones you desire! I'll throw in all the pine cuttings that you can snip because we have to do that to keep them from growing too crazy into the street! Hey, no need to thank me...I'm generous like that~

    1. Oh, to feel the love.....I'm at a loss for words. I guess I'm an expert now at picking up pinecones and why not share my expertise. I'll be there on the next train.

  3. SO clever - what a sweet gift from your friend! Good for you on the run, my friend...and I have one pine tree in my front yard, that yields about 60 pinecones on the ground, once a week...love the tree, HATE the droppings! Hope your week ROCKS!
