A Foggy Seaside Sunday

Yesterday, it was rainy and foggy. I didn't use that as an excuse, however, to just sit inside. There is just so much beauty along this coast of ours. I am happy to share it with you. Whether you live near enough to experience the ocean and seaside communities for yourself or if you live far, far away....these were taken with you in mind. If you are familiar with coastal towns, then you know that as soon as you leave one, you enter another. The coast from a small seaside town called Pawleys Island to Myrtle Beach covers all of about 15 miles. When I took the first photo here in Myrtle Beach it had just stopped raining. Next, I drove south to Pawleys Island and worked my way back north. By the time I finished in Garden City....the fog had really set in. I hope you enjoy my view of the seaside...through the lens of a camera.

So here we began in Myrtle Beach, SC

Pawleys Island fokelore tells of a Gray Man that appears before storms to warn residents of impending storms or danger. What do you think? I honestly could not tell what this was when I took the picture.

I love the way the colors of this boat stand out against the foggy background.

And here back at the same path as we began, you can see that the fog has rolled in.

Have a great Sunday!
