Preserving memories for future generations, one story at a time.
It's easy to see that structure has been well taken care of. Thankfully!
It is loved!
1810?! Wow! That's amazing! It's cute! Happy travels!
Thank you! Yep, 1810. SC is rich in history and many old buildings, churches, etc. are still standing. Some are well cared for and others have been left to the elements.
Isn't that beautiful! And what gorgeous weather you had that day!
It was a gorgeous day and yes the church is so beautiful. I can only imagine all the sermons preached there and songs sung by the choirs. And I can only imagine how many church picnics were held in the church yard.
So charming!Oh what fun you are having...Cheers!Linda :o)
Beautiful pictures!Steve is looking for a new idea to paint so we might hit the road tomorrow.
Thanks, Carol! Happy hunting!
Such a sweet chapel! Is it a historic site or is it still in use? Wouldn't it be a fun venue for a wedding?!
Isn't it sweet? Yes, it's a historical site.
Love coming upon an old church on the back roads...and this one is a great find!
