I've Been Waiting All Summer For This

You may remember in this post when we brought home my Adirondack chairs. I love them....Mr. Wilbur's craftsmanship is awesome. The seat fit is so comfortable.
And, I have been
waiting all summer for this……

.....To be able to sit on the dock on a cool crisp fall day with a good book and a lap quilt. Sunday was that day. It was glorious! The only thing missing was a hot cup of Chai tea.

The quilt was an antique store find a few months ago. I paid $4 for it. The only problem was that one quarter of it had a huge hole in it. No problem. I cut it up into quarters and salvaged three of them. Cute vintage charm, warm and just what this chair needed.

Talk soon,
Laurie

My mother and my husband's mother are here for Thanksgiving. I hope they like sitting by a fire, because I'm looking forward to it. Lol! It's supposed to be sunny and cool. Perfect weather!
