ReplyDeleteOh, good ones, Carol! I can't believe I didn't think of baskets.
DeleteHi Laurie- I am finally getting back to blogging and visiting! I think of FROST on the pumpkin and hayrides and hot cider and apple pie baking when I think of fall. Hope you have a great day...xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Diana...pumpkins and hayrides are great. Good to hear from you!

I've seen your fires....good one. We'll be safe. Just a LOT of rain expected. Thank you, Linda!

DeleteAwful weather today.....
How will your beach house fare in the storm....
Corn fields, chickens, cattle, weather-vanes. All of it is charming!
ReplyDeleteGood choices, Betsy! I love the weather-vanes and corn fields.
DeleteYou've already listed it, Laurie, but a huge vegetable garden, along with berry patches, fruit trees and lots of canning and preserving for the winter months!
ReplyDeleteWell, I love your words...canning vegetables should have been on my list. Totally slipped my mind.
DeleteWhen I think of country living I think of my Amish neighbors! All the other words listed here do cover about everything. It took me a while to learn to love living in a rural area but now it's what makes me smile! Happy October..my favorite month!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to visit Amish country. I bet you can see everything listed above on their farms. I love the country and October!
DeleteIt all sounds good to me, along with what everyone else said. :) The slow life. Blissful blessing.
ReplyDeleteI was born for it....haha!
DeleteHmmm, you forgot flies, mosquitos...and snakes. just kidding. I too love the quietness of the country, along with all of the other things mentioned.
