One of the loveliest places I know is the South Carolina Coast.
Starting today, I will be posting pictures of the coast and surrounding areas in a series called Seaside Sunday. As is typical of winter pictures, these take on somewhat of a subdued appearance.
As seasons change, the lighting changes; no more or no less as often as the tides. Hope you enjoy the series.

Where there are palms
and seagulls, relaxing is key.
There are boats
and brown pelicans, sitings are free.
Here families hang out at the creeks
or by the sea.

Lovely! The beach never disappoints! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so great. It's nice to get an impression of places so far away. I love the seaside, too, especially in winter, when we love to spend time on the islands at our north coast. Unfortunately it needs a ride of 3 hours.

Oh, this looks fabulous! All I see out my window in Wisconsin is snow. That can have its beauty, but the beauty is fading fast...
ReplyDeleteThank you Holly. Please post pictures of your snow. That's about the only time I get to see any as we rarely see snow here. It was nice to meet you. Please stop by again.
DeleteOK OK I will come , u don't have to beg. lol Beautiful
ReplyDeleteThought that would do the trick.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Laurie, How I would love to be able to wander along your South Carolina Beach. It looks so peaceful and would make a wonderful place to think about all of the problems one faces. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Your comments means a lot to me. Have a wonderful day and hope you have sunshine. We do, but we are not going to get as warm as they said. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteYes, Shirley, the ocean has a calming effect for sure. It's one of my favorite places to be. And it looks like the sun is coming out today. Yay!! The high here today is supposed to be in the upper 50's. Stay warm my Missouri friend.
DeleteI feel in love with South Carolina beaches last spring break when we went to Charleston. I redid our bedroom with those beautiful colors and pictures of our visit. I look forward to more seaside Sunday pics.
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacy.....I'll keep 'em coming.
DeleteYes, the ocean is fascinating! Enjoyed your photos.
ReplyDeleteThis is a part of SC that I didn't get to see while I was out there, good reason to go back! Thanks for sharing these
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you come back, Cindy. I'll give you the tour.
