Since.....

Since I've been sick, I've knitted dishcloths, started a new book....Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee, and planned my new vegetable garden.

Thank you all for the messages and well wishes!

And now, I'm going to be a whiny baby, for a minute.
It's been three weeks!
For someone who avoids doctors offices like the plague, I've been twice. It was bad, y'all! Three weeks, two doctor visits, and two rounds of antibiotics later, I think I am finally kicking bronchitis to the curb. I expect the cough to linger, however.

Cliff is getting better, but he ended up in the doctor's office, too.
OMG, you should have been there! First of all, the young nurse said, "Get on the scales". I said, "I will, but you can't say a word and Cliff, you turn your head." HaHa! Cliff rolled his eyes at me and the nurse said, "Not you, I've got your weight from last week." After she weighed Cliff, she then escorted us across the hall and put us in the same exam room.

Cliff gets bored, easily!

He starts reading everything on the walls, wanting to use the blood pressure cuff, the little ear, nose and throat thingy hanging on the wall...on me. And then he asked, "What if I tell the doctor to make you take your shirt off and get on the exam table so he can listen to your chest?" To which I responded, "Well, are you ready to get your prostate checked?" That hushed him.....for awhile. Two, almost three hours later. I was headed to CVS, but first, I took the boy home. Lord only knows what he would do in the pharmacy. He has gone up to a nurse's desk in the hospital before and asked if they had any prescription medication. LOL!!

I'm so glad we're starting to feel better.

Cliff said.....

Yes, I am a hard head. I don't always go to the doctor, when I should. I fight it as long as I can, thinking I'll be better tomorrow. Well, today I couldn't fight it any longer. I gave in and went. That place was a coughing madhouse.
Three and a half hours, one chest x-ray, one breathing treatment and five medication prescriptions later, I was able to leave. Doc said, "You have a bad case of bronchitis."

Cliff said............"You need an excel spreadsheet to keep up with that."

And then he took me to dinner for Won Ton soup.
Before heading home, we drove down to the beach.

Look how pretty the water is. Light blue, light aqua and grey.

And, the ocean was pretty calm. Such a gorgeous day!
