Sloggers

I just had to share with you the best garden shoe, ever! I normally wear rubber boots while working in the yard and in the garden, but it's getting hot and those puppies make me sweat. So, the search was on for a different solution.

After looking online, I found these adorable garden shoes.

Sloggers!

They run true to size. They're flexible and have a thick cushion on the inside. Soooo comfortable. Inexpensive. And, they're made in the USA!

I've worn them in the garden, cut grass in them and when they've gotten dusty or muddy....I rinsed them with the water hose. I love them!

Well, I've already had my breakfast and coffee on the patio. It's gorgeous and cool out there right now, so I'm headed out the door to do some chores before the heat drives me inside.

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Remember and be grateful for those that they gave their life while serving our country.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

See you next week,
~*~ Laurie ~*~

  4. I have to check these out. I had a pair of crocs for the garden for awhile, but now I'm just in flip flops.

    1. I've tried both. The crocs just don't stay on my feet very well and little ants can nibble on my toes in flip flops. Sloggers are perfect for me.

  8. Going to Amazon to look at the Sloggers! I can't wear Crocs because they have so little support. But these look like they might give more of a "holding" fit. Thanks for the heads-up.

Hope you and yours have a great holiday weekend . . . with good weather!

    1. Yay! You'll love them. I can't wear Crocs, either. I can't keep them on my feet. These are more form fitting and have a nice cushioned insole.

We'll have a great holiday, no matter what. But, we are expecting a little rain. It's all good.

  13. Happy feet! :) I just wear flip flops. But I don't cut the grass.
I'm especially loving that blue planter! I recognize it! :)

    1. Lol! I especially love that planter, too! If I wore just flip flops working in the yard or garden, it would only be a matter of time before I got an ant bite on my toes.

  14. Those are super cute shoes! I am glad they are comfy. I need to get some summer work shoes too. Last year I ruined a pair of cute sandals that I wore into the garden too often!

  17. I've found those at local tractor supply and garden supply stores here. I bought a pair for my Mom and my sister loved them too so I got her a pair. She even wears them to the store because they are so comfy she forgets to take them off!

  19. Those are so cute! I would love a pair, but my feet are so darn narrow, that I would probably walk right out of them.

    1. Go by a Tractor Supply and try a pair on. I think you'll be surprised. I have a narrow heel and I can keep them on just fine.

  20. Those Sloggers are adorable, Laurie. I cannot wear Crocs and the like. I wish I could but my feet are too narrow for them to stay put on my feet. These would probably be the same for me. I would love to be able to wear them though. So doggone cute!
